JAG: Season Six starts off right where the previous season ended. Just in case you don't remember, Season Five ended at a huge party, where Mic (Trevor Goddard) showed up and told the whole gang that he had resigned his commission with the Australian Royal Navy and was moving to D.C. That's just the kind of guy Mic is. He'll move 12,000 miles just to be with the woman he loves, even if she still won't wear the engagement ring on her left hand. Obviously the relationship between Mic and Mac (Catherine Bell) is going to be a bigger part in this season. I have to say though, I feel bad for Mic. The first episode, Mac just sends him to walk the dog so she can talk secrets so much that it's got to be frustrating, and then she goes off to Russia looking for Harm. But he still persists in gaining her favor.
Harm (David James Elliott) is still seeing Renee (Cindy Ambuehl). She is still as annoying as ever, but I guess he must see something in her. Or maybe it's just that he still can't admit his feelings for Mac. There are quite a few funny scenes, especially when Harm's ex-lovers come around. Anyway, Harm is going to have quite a few surprises sprung on him this season, the biggest of which to me is that he has a brother. Normally I wouldn't spoil that surprise, but since they tell you on the back of the box, I'm not really spoiling anything. As usual, Harm continues to find ways to use the laws to his advantage and help everyone he can.
Bud (Patrick Labyorteaux) and Harriet (Karri Turner) have a whole lot to deal with this season outside of the office. Their personal life is tried about as it can possibly be. At the office, Bud's career continues to improve and his skills as a lawyer increase. He now has to go up against Harm and Mac, and he does hold his own quite well.
There are no special features on the DVD set, but JAG doesn't need special features to make it worth buying. You should definitely go buy JAG: Season 6. I will warn you though, the season ends on part 1 of a 2 part episode, so you will be left anxiously awaiting the release of Season 7 like me.
