As you will see in Saturday Night Live: The Best of Chris Farley , Chris Farley was excellent at what he did. He was a big guy and his size didn't change a lot, but he could play any kind of man or woman you needed for a particular comic bit. He could be that guy that roots for the Bulls a little too loudly and consistently at the sports bar, a really large and somewhat scary kid or the often under-appreciated cafeteria worker at your public school.

Saturday Night Live: The Best of Chris Farley presents several of Chris Farley's more memorable characters. The wide range of characters selected for this UMD is an excellent example of Farley's work, with a good bit of some of his earlier skits as well, which help to show off Farley's diversity. It's interesting to note that Chris Farley was so good at making people laugh that he often caused his co-stars to crack up during his skits. He's gotten the best of a few of them in the 61 minutes presented here; watch for David Spade and Christina Applegate to crack up during the Matt Foley, Motivational Speaker skit. Additionally, one of my favorite skits was included - Adam Sandler performing "Lunch Lady Land" (aka "Sloppy Joe"); I would have thought of Adam Sandler if someone had asked about this skit, but it was Chris Farley who played the part of the Lunch Lady.

Saturday Night Live: The Best of Chris Farley's menu screen has the feel of Saturday Night Live, with a typical jazzy piece by the Saturday Night Live Band and familiar "Streets of New York" graphics in the background.

In the end, Chris Farley was unable to break his drug habit; he died from a drug overdose. To help others out of such a desperate situation, a foundation was set up in his name. Included on this UMD is a Public Service Announcement made by several of his co-stars from Saturday Night Live for the Chris Farley Foundation.

All in all, if you are a Farley fan, this UMD is definitely worth the price of admission.
