Function:Only a small amount of observation is required to be able to tell that this nifty little gadget is a set of headphones. Upon closer look, it becomes apparent that the Pelican Sound Kit is meant to be used with the Game Boy Advance SP. But what's this? They can double as real head phones as well? Yes, the annoying adapter needed to use real headphones on your SP is included in this package, allowing you to plug your Pelican headphones into anything with a headphone jack. Take that Nintendo! |
| Performance:First and foremost, these headphones are small. It won't matter how good the sound is if the speakers could fill a theater with noise. The sound waves are kept in your ears, and the wires are kept out of the way via a handy little coil that turns the two feet of wire into a condensed span of about an inch. Of course, without any sound quality at all, a pair of headphones would be useless. Fortunately, the Pelican Sound Kit offers a great audio experience. It delivers the sounds from games that you could never experience through the SP's built in speaker. |

Features:
- Retractable cord that turns two feet of cables into 2 inches
- Interchangeable adapter that allow you to use them on your GBA SP or stereo
- Small size allows them to fit neatly inside any GBA SP carrying case

Drawbacks & Problems::The only real drawback to these phones is the fact that they can be a bit hard on the ears, literally. The pieces that go just inside your ears, though small, are slightly too rigid and caused a little discomfort after a while. All the repositioning in the world couldn't stop them from ultimately causing a little pain in my audio facilitators. However, if you're the type that enjoys getting the sound source as close to your ear drums as possible, this minor flaw won't be much of an issue. |
